Ecology & Habitat

Habitat

Dry sagebrush-grassy slopes, and open woodlands (Pinus ponderosa, Pseudotsuga menziesii) in the foothills to moderate elevations in the mountains (1700-2400 m) (Flora of North America Editorial Committee 2019; Hitchcock and Cronquist 2018; Idaho Native Plant Society 2011). Occurs in the Idaho Batholith region.
