Known from nine occurrences, seven of which have been seen in the last twenty years (Bittman 1998).
Threat Impact Comments
Possibly threatened by mining and grazing (Skinner, 1997, CNPS 2001), but CNPS (2001) considers not endangered at the present.
Ecology & Habitat

Habitat

Often in cracks of granite outcrops and on gravelly slopes at 2100-3500 m. in pinyon-juniper woodlands, lower and upper montain coniferous forests, and subalpine coniferous forests (California Dept. of Fish and Game 2000).
