Taxonomic Comments
Originally described as a subspecies of Pentagramma triangularis by Winner and Simpson (2007), the circumscription of the genus with six species following Schuettpelz et al. (2015) and the generic placement of this taxon are in accordance with the Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group I (2016).
