Taxonomic Comments
Synonymous with Lonchophaca duchesnensis. The species superficially resembles A. convallarius but has more developed leaflets and longer pods.

An Uinta Basin endemic, occurs in Daggett, Duchesne, and Uintah Counties in Utah and in Moffatt County, Colorado (Welsh et al., 1993, and Weber and Whitman, 1996).

Habitat

Found in salt desert shrub and pinon-juniper communities on sandy and gravelly pediments such as sandy mesas or around sandstone or shale outcrops (Goodrich, 1986) from 1430 to 1830 m (Welsh, 1993).
