Endemic to California, Chorizanthe parryi is known from approximately twenty extant occurrences in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. It is extirpated in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Urbanization seriously threatens this taxon.

Occurrences Comments
Known from about twenty occurrences as C. parryi var. parryi; C. parryi var. fernandina is thought to be extirpated (Skinner, 1997).
