Ecology & Habitat

Habitat

Pinyon-juniper, sage-brush, mountain brush, bull grass, limber pine, white fir, and rarely desert shrub communities, in marly limestone, shaly slopes, and clay or sandy-clay soils, at 1615 to 2290 m (Welsh 1993).
