Taxonomic Comments
This record is for the broad treatment of Dudleya saxosa, including D. saxosa ssp. collomiae, as recognized by Moran in FNA (2009, vol. 8) and McCabe (2024). Older treatments (e.g., Kartesz 1994, 1999) recognize D. saxosa more narrowly, excluding D. collomiae (an Arizona endemic) as a distinct species. Moran's FNA treatment mentions D. alainae with D. saxosa ssp. aloides but indicates that its best placement is uncertain.
