Taxonomic Comments
Kartesz (1999) includes Arenaria pumicola var. californica in A. aculeata, thus A. pumicola var. pumicola accepted by Kartesz (1994) is A. pumicola of Kartesz (1999). FNA (Vol. 5, 2005) follows this same treatment except that it moves the species to Eremogone.
