Taxonomic CommentsEriogonum natum was described as a new species by Reveal in 1975 (Welsh et al. 1975). Since then it has been treated as a species (Kartesz 1994, Flora of North America Editorial Committee 2005), or as a variety E. spathulatum var. natum (Welsh et al. 1993, Welsh et al. 2015).
