Rank Reasons
This species has no threats and is managerially protected in a Wilderness Area as well as self-protected by growing in a fairly rugged and remote area. But, because of its very restricted range, limited habitat and that it lies entirely within one managerial unit, this species is given a G3.
Range Extent Comments
This species is restricted to scattered locations in the Wallowa Mts. of northeastern Oregon, and Adams and Idaho counties, Idaho (Flora of North America Editorial Committee 2005).
Occurrences Comments
Occurrences are estimated to be over 21. Because the Oregon Natural Heritage Program does not track this species, occurrence definitions have not been researched.
Threat Impact Comments
No threats are known for this species.
