Range Extent Comments
Nearly endemic to eastcentral Nevada from the southern half of White Pine County to northern Lincoln County and northcentral Nye County (Cronquist et al. 1984).
Occurrences Comments
Field observations suggest that there are many occurrences of Penstemon barnebyi (pers. comm. Jim Morefield, 1/98).
Ecology & Habitat

Habitat

Sagebrush and pinyon-juniper slopes, on alluvial gravel and limestone silts (Kartesz, 1988).
