Range Extent250-20,000 square km (about 100-8000 square miles)
Rank Reasons
A Pacific Northwest endemic, known from the southern interior of British Columbia, Canada and from 2 counties in northern Washington State. It is known from about 34 sites in total. Due to the nature of the habitat, (rock ledges and outcrops), there are few serious threats to the species (WNHP 2003). It is potentially threatened by grazing and ORV use (WNHP 2003).
Range Extent Comments
Eastern Okanogan Co. and adjacent Ferry Co., WA, and Baldy Mountain in southern British Columbia.
Occurrences Comments
Ranked S2S3 in British Columbia.
Threat Impact Comments
Potentially threatened by grazing and ORV use (WNHP 2003). Grazing has occurred at many of the known locations with little obvious impact to the species; however, cattle grazing may introduce non-native species that would compete with Talinum sediforme (WNHP 2003).
