Taxonomic Comments
As treated by Kartesz (1999), includes four subspecies, of which three include recognized varieties: ssp. angustifolia (vars. angustifolia and persicifolia), ssp. pallida (vars. cognata, confinis, lutescens, and pallida), ssp. polyadenia (no varieties), and ssp. trifoliata (vars. mollis and trifoliata).
