Endemic to five counties of the Florida panhandle but locally rather common in its preferred habitat. Also reported from Georgia, but distribution unknown.
Range Extent Comments
Cronquist (1980) reports Rudbeckia graminifolia from Florida (Gulf, Bay, Calhoun, Liberty and Franklin Counties). Reported from Georgia (Duncan and Kartesz 1981).
Ecology & Habitat

Habitat

Wet pine savannas and flatwoods, borders of shrub-tree bogs or bays, open bogs, grassy cypress-gum depressions, often in shallow water (Godfrey and Wooten 1981).
