Taxonomic Comments
FNA (vol. 8, 2009) here expands the concept of Sedella pumila to include S. congdonii, while Kartesz (1994) treated them as distinct. Reports of S. pumila in Oregon were considered false or doubtful by the 2009 FNA treatment; however, Oregon is listed as part of its range in the 2012 edition of the Jepson Manual (Baldwin et al., 2012) and the Oregon Natural Heritage Program has confirmed its presence there.
