Range Extent Comments
Known from three counties in northeastern California: Butte, Tehama, and Shasta (Clifton and Buck 2007). Its range extends approimately 160 km north-south (Clifton and Buck 2007). The species may also be found in Plumas, Yuba, and Nevada county (Lazar and Bittman 2007).
Occurrences Comments
Approximately 35 occurrences are known (Lazar and Bittman 2007).
Threat Impact Comments
Logging and off-road vehicles are potential threats (Clifton and Buck 2007). Streptanthus longisiliqus is somewhat tolerant of disturbances such as grading and excavating, if they are localized, and may even be favored by them (Clifton and Buck 2007).

Lower montane coniferous forest, often in openings and sometimes in disturbed places (Clifton and Buck 2007).
