Taxonomic Comments
This is the record for Lycopodium clavatum in the narrow sense (=Lycopodium clavatum var. clavatum). The treatment followed in Kartesz's 1999 Synthesis and FNA (vol. 2, 1993) moves all non-typical varieties of Lycopodium clavatum recognized in the 1994 checklist to L. lagopus.
