Threat Impact Comments
Pachysandra procumbens is a significantly rare species infrequent on National Forest Service lands and critically imperiled in many locations throughout its range. As a result, it is moderately threatened by the alteration and conversion of natural forests. It is also exploited by some for cultivation (Southern Appalachian Species Viability Project 2002).
