Taxonomic Comments
Flora of North America Editorial Committee (1993) and Weakley (2023) do not recognize infrataxa in Palhinhaea cernua. Kartesz (1994, 1999) had distinguished Lycopodiella cernua var. cernua and L. cernua var. curvata.
