Ranging from southwestern Utah to southern Nevada in a variety of dry desert vegetative communities on slopes and in drainages. Uncommon within its southern Nevada range, and with 16 sites reported by Albee et al. (1988) in southwestern Utah.

Found in Utah (Beaver, Garfield, Kane, Sevier, and Washington Counties (Welsh et al. 1993) and Nevada (Nye, Lincoln, Clark Counties (Kartesz 1988).
Occurrences Comments
Uncommon in southern Nevada (Kartesz 1988). 16 sites in southwest Utah (Albee et al. 1988).
Ecology & Habitat

Habitat

Sagebrush, pinyon-juniper, pygmy sagebrush, ponderosa pine, and spruce communities at 1735-3050 meters (Welsh et al. 1993). Dry mountain slopes, cracks in rocks, ephemeral drainages, and washes (Kartesz 1988).
