Taxonomic Comments
The treatment of Physaria acutifolia in FNA (2010, vol. 7) includes P. stylosa (which is accepted as a distinct species in Kartesz (1994 & 1999) and is recognized in Welsh et al. (2015) as a variety of P. acutifolia) and excludes P. acutifolia var. purpurea as indistinct from P. grahamii (in which P. repanda is also included).
