Taxonomic Comments
The generic placement of this taxon, in Pelazoneruon, aligns with The Generic Classification of Thelypteridaceae of Fawcett and Smith (2021). The classification of the Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group I (2016) predates this work, which recognizes a broader concept of Christella including Pelazoneruon. It was treated in the genus Thelypteris in the Flora of North America (1993, vol. 2).
