Stevia plummerae is in New Mexico, Arizona, and northern Mexico (at least Chihuahua and Sonora), occurring at about 1200-2450 meters on open slopes, steamsides (e.g., in rich soil of canyons), and disturbed roadsides. The species is widespread, with plants solitary or in scattered colonies.
