Taxonomic Comments
FNA (vol. 9, 2014) recognizes two varieties in Rubus leucodermis (nigerrimus and leucodermis). FNA includes Kartesz's (1994) R. nigerrimus (= R. leucodermis var. nigerrimus) as a variety of R. leucodermis and includes R. leucodermis var. bernardinus and R. leucodermis var. trinitatis in R. leucodermis var. leucodermis.
