Rank Reasons
Cymopterus globosus ranges from central-eastern California (1200-2100 meters) through Nevada to western Utah, occurring in sandy or gravelly soil in desert valleys and foothills. Threats include grazing and changes in hydrologic alterations.
Range Extent Comments
The extent of occurrence was estimated based on SEINet specimens during the 2018 review.
Occurrences Comments
Information is needed on the number and viability of populations, especially in Nevada where the majority of the range is.
Threat Impact Comments
This species is threatened in California by grazing (CNPS 2018). It is also threatened by hydrologic alterations in the Inyo National Forest (USFS 2018).
