Taxonomic Comments
The spelling of the scientific name as 'langsdorfii' is a long standing error for the correct spelling as 'langsdorffii', as the species is named after Baron Georg Heinrich von Langsdorff. Kartesz (1994 & 1999) use 'langsdorfii'.
