Taxonomic Comments
This record is for the treatment of Erigeron utahensis in the narrow sense that excludes E. sparsifolius as a distinct species, as recognized in Nesom's treatment in FNA (2006, vol. 20). The treatment in Kartesz (1994, 1999) included E. sparsifolius as a variety of E. utahensis. Both treatments include E. utahensis var. tetrapleuris in synonymy.
