Taxonomic Comments
This record is for Monardella exilis in the narrow sense recognized by Kartesz (1999) and Baldwin et al. (2012) which exclude M. frutescens. Kartesz (1994) included it as M. exilis var. frutescens. Baldwin et al. (2012) recognize M. frutescens as indistinct from M. undulata ssp. undulata, following Elvin and Sanders (2009).
