Taxonomic Comments
This record is for the narrow treatment of Ephedra nevadensis following the Flora of North America (1993, vol. 2) which is equivalent to Ephedra nevadensis var. nevadensis of Kartesz (1994). Kartesz (1994) recognized two varieties in Ephedra nevadensis, var. aspera and var. nevadensis, that were recognized as distinct species by FNA (1993, vol. 2).
