Ecology & Habitat

Description

Dwarf plant, only 2 cm tall; yellow flowers in condensed umbels that have a ring of fused green bracts beneath the flower heads. Unique in the Apiaceae because it has simple, undivided leaves.

Habitat

This species found in grasslands and meadows with rocky soil (Wildflower Center, 2021).
