Taxonomic Comments
Anticlea virescens is reinstated by Zomlefer and Judd (2002) to allow for a "revised, practical taxonomy that defines monophyletic groups and reflects phylogenetic relationships." The treatment in FNA (Schwartz 2002) recognizes the taxon as Zigadenus virescens.
