Ecology & Habitat

Description

A perennial plant, Castilleja lineata has gray-green, densely tomentose leaves and stems. Bracts are deeply lobed and dull yellowish. The new seasons growth is evident in early spring. Woody base with previous years flower stalks remaining through the winter.
