Ranging from western Wyoming to central Idaho and northern Utah in sagebrush-grass, pinyon-juniper and mountain brush communities. Locally common in the Unita Basin and well represented in north-central Utah.
Range Extent Comments
Found in Utah (Box Elder, Cache, Carbon, Daggett, Davis, Duchesne, Juab, Morgan, Rich, Sanpete, Summit, Salt Lake, Tooele, Uintah, Utah, Wasatch, Weber counties (Welsh et al. 1993). Southwest to northwest Wyoming (Dorn 1977). Central Idaho (Davis 1952).
Occurrences Comments
Locally common and widespread in Uinta Basin, Utah (Goodrich and Neese 1986). 62 sites in north-central and northeastern Utah (Albee et al. 1988).
Ecology & Habitat

Habitat

Sagebrush grass, pinyon-juniper, and mountain brush communities at 1340 to 3155 meters (Welsh et al. 1993). Dry hills and valleys.
