Taxonomic Comments
In the name Artemisia nova, the word 'nova' was intended by Nelson to be a species epithet, not merely designation of an unnamed new species, and therefore is nomenclaturally acceptable (cf. Intl. Code Botanical Nomen., St. Louis ed. (2000), Art. 23.6(b), example 11). LEM 17Oct01.
