Rank Reasons
This plant is found in a great many parts of North America, and deserves a rank of G4 based on this alone. However, Gleason states that this species is also widely distributed in Eurasia.
Range Extent Comments
From Weakley et al. (2023), "Widely distributed in North America, Eurasia, and the Southern Hemisphere. The pre-Columbian occurrence of Myosurus in parts of our area (such as the Coastal Plain and Piedmont of the Atlantic states) is uncertain; it may well be an alien, early introduced from more western parts of se. North America."
