Taxonomic Comments
Kartesz (1994) recognizes two varieties in Phacelia ivesiana, var. glandulifera and var. ivesiana and considers P. pediculoides to be a distinct species. In contrast, Kartesz (1999) recognizes P. ivesiana var. pediculoides and var. ivesiana and considers P. glandulifera to be a distinct species.
