Taxonomic Comments
This record represents the broad concept of Ranunculus acriformis including R. acriformis var. aestivalis, and two other varieties (var. acriformis and var. montanensis) following Kartesz (1994) and FNA (vol. 3, 1997). In contrast, Van Buren et al. (1994) recognize R. aestivalis and R. acriformis as distinct species, a view followed by Kartesz (1999).
