Occurs in a fairly narrow range of northern New Mexico and Colorado, apparently in alpine habitat only. Resonably frequent in Colorado.

Southwestern Colorado and northern New Mexico. Also in Otero Co. in southern New Mexico.
Occurrences Comments
There are 58 Colorado specimens at the CU Herbarium (4/99).
