Taxonomic Comments
This record is for the narrow treatment of Trifolium wormskioldii, excluding T. wormskioldii var. arizonicum as indistinct from T. mucronatum ssp. lacerum, as recognized in Vincent and Gillett's treatment in FNA (2023, vol. 11) and in Kartesz (1994 and 1999). The name is often spelled 'wormskjoldii'; FNA (2023), Isely (1998), and Kartesz (1994, 1999) spell it 'wormskioldii'.
