Taxonomic CommentsThis record is for the treatment of Brickellia eupatorioides in a broad sense as recognized in Kartesz (1994, 1999) and FNA (2006, vol. 21), including var. chlorolepis, var. corymbulosa, var. floridana, var. gracillima, and var. texana. Weakley et al. (2023) recognize a narrower concept, excluding the varieties as distinct species or including them in other taxa. According to that treatment, B. eupatorioides in this narrow sense is equivalent in concept to B. eupatorioides var. eupatorioides of FNA (2006) and Kartesz (1999).
