A narrow endemic of the coastal plain of southeastern VA, NC, SC, and eastern GA (Weakley 1996).
Ecology & Habitat

Habitat

Pocosins, margins of pineland ponds. Zenobia pulverulenta sometimes dominates the centers of major peat domes in the Outer Coastal Plain and in large Carolina bays in the Bladen Lakes region. Sometimes codominant with Chamaedaphne or Sarracenia flava (Weakley 1996).
