Range Extent CommentsCoosa, Cahaba, Alabama, and extreme upper Black Warrior river systems (Mobile Bay drainage), northwestern Georgia, Alabama, and southeastern Tennessee; possibly introduced in Black Warrior system (Lee et al. 1980); fairly common, especially in spring-fed streams in Coosa River system (Page and Burr 1991).
