Taxonomic Comments
FNA (Vol. 5, 2005) appears to accept the same treatment as Kartesz (1999) for the species Arenaria lanuginosa, although infraspecific taxa are slightly different: FNA accepts the varieties var. saxosa and var. lanuginosa, while Kartesz (1999) and BONAP (June 2010 draft) accept these taxa as subspecies with and additional devision of Arenaria lanuginosa ssp. lanuginosa into var. lanuginosa and var. longipedunculata.
