Taxonomic Comments
This record is for the narrow treatment of Agalinis obtusifolia as recognized by Pettengill and Neel (2011), FNA (vol. 17, 2019), and Weakley et al. (2024) which treat Agalinis obtusifolia, A. tenella, and A. decemloba (including A. acuta) as distinct species. Previously, A. decemloba along with A. tenella were treated as synonyms of a broad sense of Agalinis obtusifolia by Kartesz (1994, 1999). Kartesz (1994, 1999) separately recognized A. acuta as a distinct species.
