Taxonomic Comments
The synonymous new combination Kalmia procumbens, listed as "auct. comb. nov. ined." in Kartesz (1999), was formally validated in 2008 (Kron et al. 2008). FNA (vol. 8, 2009) transfers Loiseleuria procumbens to Kalmia procumbens.

Ecology & Habitat

Habitat

This species is found in coastal marshes, as well as dry to moist subarctic, arctic, and alpine tundra, at elevations ranging from 0 to 2,500 meters (Liu et al., 2020).
