Taxonomic Comments
FNA (vol. 8, 2009) treats Diapensia lapponica var. obovata as a species, distinct from D. lapponica, so the treatment of D. lapponica var. lapponica by Kartesz (1994 and 1999) matches the stricter sense of D. lapponica accepted by FNA.
