Taxonomic Comments
This record is for the narrow treatment of Carex rossii, excluding C. brevipes (=C. deflexa var. boottii) as recognized by Crins and Rettig in FNA (2002, vol. 23). Other treatments (e.g., Kartesz (1994, 1999)) include C. brevipes as indistinct from C. rossii.
