Taxonomic Comments
This record is for the broad treatment of Dichanthelium acuminatum, including var. fasciculatum, var. lindheimeri, var. sericeum, var. thermale, and var. thurowii, as recognized in Kartesz (1994, 1999). Some treatments exclude the varieties as distinct species, recognizing a much narrower concept of D. acuminatum.
