Range Extent CommentsHackelia taylorii is known only from the Wenatchee Mountains, in the East Cascades ecoregion, in Chelan County, Washington (Harrod et al. 2013, Fertig and Kleinknecht 2020).
Occurrences CommentsFour occurrences are known (Fertig 2020). The species was last relocated in 2013 (Fertig 2020).
Threat Impact CommentsHackelia taylorii, an alpine species, was found to be highly vulnerable to climate change (Fertig 2020b).

Habitat
Hackelia tayloriii occurs on steep mountain slopes with sandy/gravelly, talus or scree at elevations of 1,800 to 2,300 m; substrate is granitic (Harrod et al. 2013).
