Taxonomic Comments
This record is for the treatment of Sedum obtusatum in a narrow sense, excluding subspecies/varieties paradisum, boreale, and retusum previously included (by Kartesz 1994, Flora of North America Editorial Committee 2009). Sedum paradisum is now considered a distinct species with two subspecies, and boreale and retusum material has also been included in other species (Zika et al. 2018).
